Purpose

The purpose of the Christian Witness Commission is to actively support evangelistic efforts to reach unbelieving people and people groups in our church, community, region, nation and world with the gospel of Jesus Christ.  We strive to do so in a culturally sensitive way, and to provide relief and ongoing support in the name of Christ to both believers and non-believers.

Categories of Involvement

Partnerships (often international)

Mission Partnerships are equal relationships of trust and respect between LGPC and at least one Christian organization.  The partners share a commitment to demonstrate and proclaim the good news of the Gospel.

Relationships

Mission Relationships are relationships of trust and respect between LGPC and an organization (preferably Christian) through which we can demonstrate the good news of the Gospel.

Mission Support

These are ministries or organizations with which LGPC shares trust and common goals to meet holistic needs and through whose work we can demonstrate the love of Christ to those in need.
