Saturday, Mar 8: BASH auction 3:00 to close
Sunday, Apr 13: Team Meeting noon-5:30
Sunday, May 18: Team Meeting noon-2:30
Sunday, Jun 29: Team Meeting noon-2:30
Sunday, June 29, 2008: Youth Commissioning - All 3 Services
Sunday, July 13, 2008 - Leave for Mission Trip
Saturday, July 19, 2008 - Return from Mission Trip
Additional small group meetings will be scheduled as needed for assigned projects.
Basic Requirements
1. Participate regularly in LGPC?s youth ministry. (For high schoolers: Entheos, Higher Grounds, Confirmation, Bible Study; For 8th graders:
Fish Co and/or Fish School.)
2. Participate in all team meetings including the extended meeting in April for team-building. Feb 10, April 13, May 18, Jun 29, and Commissioning - TBA July. Additional small group meetings will be scheduled as needed for assigned task.
3. Help with the B.A.S.H. before, during, and after the event. Students must donate an item or service for auction and put in a minimum of 4 hours service. March 7-8.
4. Return a show of thanks for LGPC?s support by putting in 4 hours of volunteer service in a church ministry to children or senior citizens.
5. Plan and conduct a local service project with your assigned small group for at-risk children, the homeless, or senior citizens.
6. Read one of the following suggested books and write a one-page report identifying the author's position and your personal, biblical response. Due 6/29. One page typed, double space.
