Our desire is to prepare young disciples of Jesus Christ through outreach to students, discipleship with students, and leadership through students – so they may be equipped to choose rightly, serve sacrificially, and live intentionally for God with the new-found freedom they will experience after graduation.

Higher Grounds:
Join other high schoolers at 9:30 AM on Sundays in Room 204 for eye-opening roundtable discussion
as we brew a deeper faith by studying Scripture over coffee, OJ and an occasional Krispy Kreme.
The Well :
Our high school youth group meets from 6:30-8:30 PM Sunday evenings in the Youth Room. It's is a casual and relaxed atmosphere to ask your probing questions, learn more about Christ, and discover God’s plan for your life. Our time together almost always includes games, worship, prayer, teaching, small groups, and yes, refreshments too!
Confirmation:
Each year beginning in January, a Confirmation Class is offered for those students interested in exploring their faith and learning what it means to be a member of the body of Christ. Many high school students wishing to be in leadership roles take this class as a prerequisite. Confirmation is recommended for high school freshmen and sophomores.

Higher Grounds

Today, our culture expects very little from teens—not much more than staying in school and doing a few chores. A sad consequence of such low expectations is that life-changing lessons go unlearned. To whom can we turn to motivate a new generation of giants? I’ve found the answer. Alex and Brett Harris and their book, Do Hard Things. Start reading now. Then do hard things!” ~ Chuck Norris
Written by teens for teens, Do Hard Things is packed with humorous personal anecdotes and stories of teens in action. Roll out of bed and Do Hard Things with Higher Grounds on Sundays at 9:30 AM! |
