The purpose of Adult Christian Education at Lake Grove Presbyterian Church is to offer a year-round program for discipleship that enables people to grow in their commitment to Christ, Christ's church and Christ's work in the world.
adult Learning
. . . to equip the saints for the work of ministry,
for building up the body of Christ,
until all of us come to the unity of faith and of the knowledge
of the Son of God, to maturity,
to the measure of the full stature of Christ.
Learning Christ
Christians never stop growing or moving toward healthy maturity. Here at LGPC there are a number of opportunities for spiritual growth. There are small and large group Bible studies, meeting at various times during the week. There is something for everyone who wants to have a vital and growing faith. Throughout the year, including summer, you can find opportunities to explore faith issues and deepen your under-standing of the WORD, both written (Bible) and living (Jesus). Look over this list and make a decision today to take part in a group that will nurture you.

Christmas Can [Still] Change the World!
|
| |
The story of Christ's birth is a story of promise,
hope, and a revolutionary love.
So, what happened? What was once a time to celebrate the birth of a savior has somehow turned into a season of stress, traffic jams, and shopping lists. And when it's all over, many of us are left with presents to return, looming debt that will take months to pay off, and this empty feeling of missed purpose.
Is this what we really want out of Christmas? What if Christmas became a world-changing event again?
Welcome to Advent Conspiracy! |
