What is PrimeTime?
PrimeTime was formed as a means of serving adults through Lake Grove Presbyterian Church. Its primary purpose is to provide a means of bringing people together in a non-threatening setting to develop friendships through shared activities. It provides an atmosphere where one can invite others to an interesting or entertaining activity, and encourages people to invite new friends to church. PrimeTime encourages budding friendships to develop into close and caring fellowships. It provides luncheon speakers and day trips which might stimulate ideas and new things to do and provides easy access to group leadership personnel.
PrimeTime encourages participation with church youth groups. It provides opportunity to get involved with an in-depth Bible study and encourages participation in other church activities through fellowship with one another.
PrimeTime is extending an open invitation to all who are interested in coming to informative luncheons and exciting outings.
Although this group is comprised mostly of senior church members, being a senior is not required. The group enjoys a monthly activity which often includes a luncheon with speakers on subjects such as gardening, current events, or interesting travel experiences.
