Requirements for Membership at LGPC
- Profession of Faith, Reaffirmation of Faith, or Transfer of Membership
- Baptism in a Christian Church
- Completion of the New Member Seminar
The
Four Questions of Membership
- Trusting in the gracious mercy of God, do you turn from the ways
of sin and renounce evil and its power in the world?
- Do you turn to Jesus Christ and accept Him as your Lord and Savior,
trusting in His grace and love?
- Will you be Christ’s faithful disciple, obeying His Word and
showing His love?
- Do you promise to be a faithful member of this congregation, and
commit yourself responsibly to the teaching, fellowship, government
and discipline of the church?
