Barnabas
Fund
Families who find themselves in crisis may need assistance with bills
or specific payments due to unemployment, medical emergency or family
crisis. The Barnabas fund is administered by the pastoral staff to meet
these needs and is a one time gift. Members are counseled one on
one, and two pastors must approve requests.
Care
and Share
If you have an ongoing need, your name may be recommended to the
Christian Witness Care and Share program. A box will be delivered
to your home once a month with basic staples. In addition, holiday
boxes are prepared to be delivered at Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Crown Financial Ministries
Seminar series featuring video tapes and professional speakers to teach families the basic principles of Christian financial managing. .
Food Pantry / Vouchers

From time to time our neighbors both in our congregation and in
the greater neighborhood are in need of extra provisions and food.
Our food closet provides enough food for sustaining a family until additional
assistance can be arranged through local agencies.
JOB SEARCH AND CAREER CHANGE MINISTRY
For those seeking employment or considering a career change, resource materials and counselors are available to assist in writing resumes, networking, interviewing and other general support. Individual counseling is available, and a weekly meeting is held every Monday morning at 8:00 A.M. in LGPC's Hub Room. This resource is available to anyone seeking support.
