Bob Sanders - Pastor/Head of Staff

Bob has been Pastor/Head of Staff of Lake Grove Presbyterian since 1991. He came to Lake Oswego after serving as Pastor of University Presbyterian Church of Fresno, California for ten years. Prior to that, he served for six years as an associate pastor at First Presbyterian Church of Boulder, Colorado. Bob earned his Bachelor's degree in political science at Miami University of Ohio. He went on to receive his Master of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary in 1974. Bob and Debbie were married in Princeton, and they have two grown daughters -- Kristin and Becca. In his free time, Bob enjoys reading, hiking, jogging, and playing guitar.

Graig Flach - Associate Pastor for Equipping

Graig has been at Lake Grove since September of 2001. He is the pastoral resource in two primary areas: Christian Education and Nurture (focusing on Adult Ed, but also working with Children's and Youth Ministries), and Christian Witness (mission and evangelism). His personal mission focus is currently the Zambia Partnership, working to stem the tide of death due to HIV/AIDS and famine in Southern Africa. Graig grew up in Portland but has lived in California, Minnesota, and Munich, Germany, where he earned his doctorate. He has studied at Lewis & Clark College, Fuller Theological Seminary, University of Munich, and San Francisco Theological Seminary.  Graig's parents and siblings all live in the Portland area, and he resides in nearby Sherwood with wife, Laura. They have two daughters, Ariel and Zoe. The whole family loves reading, music, movies, and time at the coast or in the mountains.

Libby Boatwright - Associate Pastor for Congregational Care

Libby comes to us at Lake Grove after having served as both the Director for Family Ministries at First Presbyterian Church, Honolulu and as a Singles/Missions coordinator and Minister to Singles at Menlo Park Presbyterian Church. Her primary areas of service are caring and visitation ministries, deacons, and special services to the community. Libby earned her A.B. Magna Cum Laude from the University of Redlands, and M.A. degrees from San Francisco State and U.C. Berkeley and her M.Div from Fuller Theological Seminary. A Certified Financial Planner and Regional Coach/Trainer for budget counselors for Crown Financial Ministries, she also participates in a variety of local and global missions. She and her husband, Frank, a licensed clinical social worker, reside in Tigard.  They have two grown sons: Floyd, who works full-time in the financial industry and sings in a rock band, and Stephen, who lives in Iowa with his wife, Joanne and their sons, Peter James and Simon John.  In her free time, Libby enjoys hiking, bicycling, music, cooking and entertaining friends.
